Weldneck Flange

Used for standard connections.
Full penetration butt weld to the pipe.

Long Weldneck Flange 

ANSI/ASME B16.5 & B16.47 Series, A+B, BS3293, API 6A, API 17D, RF, FF & RTJ

Used for branch connections to vessels. Can be supplied with extra thick wall if required for additional integral reinforcement.

Weldneck Flange with Integral Transition

ANSI/ASME B16.5 & B16.47 Series, A+B, BS3293, API 6A, API 17D, RF, FF & RTJ

Used for standard connections but where transition from a special pipe diameter needs to be carefully controlled. Full penetration butt weld to the pipe.

Swivel Flange

ANSI/ASME B16.5 & B16.47 Series A+B, API 17D, RF, FF & RTJ

Used for connections where in‐place adjustment of bolt hole position is necessary. Full penetration butt weld to the pipe.

Blind Flange

ANSI/ASME B16.5 & B16.47 Series A+B, API 6A, API 17D, RF. FF & RTS

Used to blank off an open connection and for pressure testing/filling operations. Can be supplied with any common type of pressure tapping.

Hanger Flange

Used for pipeline restraint against thrust loads and bending moments. Usually fixed to a structure via the bolt holes.

Anchor Flange

Used for pipeline restraint against thrust loads and bending moments. Usually embedded in concrete, no bolt holes.

Lapped Flange

ANSI/ASME B16.5 & B16.47 Series A+B

Commonly used with Stub Ends and regarded to be a very low strength version of a Swivel Flange. Ideal for low pressure connections where it’s necessary to be able to align bolt holes, but should not be used in any application where bending moments or other significant external forces act.

Spade & Spacer

ANSI/ASME B16.5 & B16.47 Series A+B, API 6A, API 17D, RF, FF & RFJ

Commonly used between two flanges to either securely blank off flow or allow full flow. Can be supplied individually or connected (spectacle blind).

Orifice Flange

ANSI/ASME B16.36, RF FF & RTJ

Available in Weld Neck, Threaded or Slip‐On. RTJ or RF Used to measure flow rates via pressure tappings and using a Venturi nozzle between the flange faces. Jack screws supplied if required.

Studded Block (Cross/Elbow/Tee)

ANSI/ASME B16.5, API 6A, RF, FF, RTJ

Double Studded Adaptor

ANSI/ASME B16.5 & B16.47 Series A+B, API 6A, RF, FF & RTJ

Commonly used instead of reducing flange. Makes the transition from one flange/pipe type to another flange/pipe type.

Threaded Flange

ANSI/ASME B16.5, API 6A, RF, FF & RTJ

Used for standard connections. The flange has a tapered internal thread, the adjoining pipe has a tapered external thread.

Slip‐On Flange

ANSI/ASME B16.5, BS 3293, RF, FF & RTJ

Used for standard low to medium pressure rated connections. Double welded for added strength but generally less strength capacity than a Weld Neck flange.

Socket Weld Flange

ANSI/ASME B16.5, RF, FF & RTJ

Used for standard low to medium pressure rated connections. The socket design allows for a smooth flow through the bore.
